The room at Holt Inn was cozy and inviting. I loved the free WiFi, it kept me connected with my friends and family. The private bathroom was clean and the shower had complimentary toiletries. The tea/coffee maker and electric kettle were a nice touch, perfect for a hot cuppa in the morning.
I personally found the hair dryer a bit outdated, but it's just my opinion.

I had such an amazing time at this hidden gem of a place! The location was absolutely mind-blowing, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a tranquil beach that took my breath away. The hosts were super friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the fact that they had a hot tub available for guests without extra cost was simply jaw-dropping. I also loved the self-service bar/kiosk with a great selection of drinks and treats. The room was spotless and beautifully renovated, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The nearby town was just a short drive away, so there were plenty of options for shopping and dining. I can't recommend this place enough - it was truly a paradise!

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a somewhat remote area of Iceland. First of all, the hotel offered great value for money. The prices were very reasonable considering the beautiful surroundings far away from everything else. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. From the basic amenities to the well-decorated rooms on the ground floor, everything was meticulously taken care of. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious. Despite being on the light side, it was still satisfying and a great way to start the day. I especially enjoyed the hot tub in the woods with a mountain view, as mentioned by a previous reviewer. It was the perfect way to unwind and take in the peaceful atmosphere.
All was good during my stay, no improvements needed.

Everything was fine, even so we stayed for 1 night only. All the staff was very friendly. The location was beautiful and comfortable for Flateyri, really close to beautiful mountains and a hike and a wonderful valley. Furthermore, by beautiful nature. The bar was pretty cozy...

We spent a lovely Christmas at a cozy hotel in the Westfjords. The renovated rooms were delightful with comfortable beds and stunning views of the valley. We particularly enjoyed the glassed-in atrium, perfect for relaxation and chatting with fellow guests. The location was ideal, allowing us to take a refreshing walk on the nearby beach and explore the picturesque town.
The breakfast area could use some fine-tuning to make it more welcoming. we had a pleasant stay in a charming hotel with just a few hiccups.

And let me tell you, the view from the conference room is simply breathtaking. You'll definitely want to take some pictures there. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located close to Isafjordur, so you won't feel completely cut off from civilization.

We enjoyed the serene and secluded ambiance of this hotel, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The stunning pastoral views outside and the cozy interiors made our stay truly memorable. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly, offering us the best hospitality. The breakfast was rich and filling, and we loved the hot tub. The reading room, with shelves of local geography and flora books, was a nice touch.
The lack of options for food nearby left us with no choice but to bring our own, which was a bit inconvenient.
